Description

The Research and Innovation Council Bill has been in the National Assembly for years, without being passed. The sheer progress we can make as a country if we get our research and innovation ecosystem right is just massive. It is a shame that we are not tapping into this potential for economic progress. The R & I Council bill can help to push our country forward economically.

Objective

I want the National Assembly to pass this bill and establish a fund that will focus on supporting cutting edge research and innovation that can help us tackle local challenges.
